a dream on wheels - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Mickey Matik - November 26 - 1:26 pmI have previously owned a jaguar sjs, m/benz 280sl, 350sl, 380sl. All great cars! However, the Lexus 430sc truly out performs all other cars I have ever owned or driven in this automotive category. The handling, the soft ride, the accessibility of instruments and the overall design puts this car in a class of its own. You can purchase a convertible with a retractible roof for more money, but you cant buy a better one. Lexus pays attention to detail. This car is quiet, great looking and fun, fun, fun to drive!

Reliable fun car at 8/10 of drive - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Dr Gus - October 9 - 1:30 pmJust bought this care last week. Great car. Previous Lexus owner. The best features of this car by far is its reliability and build quality. If you are looking for a pure sports car look to another auto maker such as Porsche. I am also a current Cayenne and Boxster owner. Lexus by far is light years ahead in build quality and value but at 8/10 of the fun for those who really care. If you are looking for a semi sporting luxury convertible hardtop that is a great value and most importantly very reliable and practicle look no further than the SC 430.

Not a great car. - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Tom Nault - September 22 - 6:53 amIve owned one for a year and Ive nothing but annoying problems. Most are loud rattles and squeaks that the dealer cant seem to fix even though they hear them. The passenger seat shudders with every bump if unloaded. The car has been a complete nightmare and I dont recommend it to anyone unless you dont mind constant loud squeaks and other unwelcome noises. The car had more minor problems than most Ive owned. As an example, the left headlight washer didnt retract, grease kept smearing along the passenger side window, and the carpet had to be replaces just because of missing ring for the rug anchor. Im very disappointed in Lexus for their failure to find a solution.

.best car Ive had to date - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By zzzzzzz - August 5 - 4:53 pmIve tried about 29 cars and trucks in the last 40 years... the 66 427 vette and the 2000 MB kompressor SLK were the very worst, the 2002 Lexus SC430 and the 2004 Lexus LX470 have been the way-out-ahead-BEST vehicles...no matter what the cost. The worst dealers by far were the Acura (dishonest,& poor service) and MB (arrogant and deceptive and not up to par quality with others of the same cost levels) too many come-backs, baloney, and re-dos! AWFUL!

Dream Car - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By DKF - July 30 - 9:50 pmI bought this car knowing less than 1/3 of its capabilities. The more I drive it the more I am amazed I am at what it can do. This is a FUN car.

Love this Car - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Jonnyjmp - May 17 - 2:13 amI have to say this has been the best car I have ever owned. The only problem is people want to talk to tell you how nice the car looks when you have the top down and are stopped at a light.

Pocket Rocket - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By coolpat - April 16 - 8:26 amThis car demands attention. The hard top convertible is fabulous. Low end torque not quite as good as I expected, but high end torque is amazing. The ride is a bit harsh as you might expect with a sports car. Sound system is great. Trunk is bigger than expected.

Very fun car - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By brianfuchs - March 17 - 3:56 pmHave had my SC430 for three days now. The wife and I love the power, and the comfort. We DID manage to stuff our three year olds in the back seats for a few trips around the block. They loved it, but Im cure child- cruelty laws were being broken... Remember, the rear seats are for insurance-lowering purposes only.

Beautiful, but if you have kids, no way! - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Alexandra - November 24 - 12:50 amBeautiful car. Read some reviews before I leased it, from Edmunds that stated there was plenty of room for children. I have a 2 and 3 year old and well, there just isnt any room. Just wanted to clarify that online, if you have kids, and expect them to drive in this car, youre in la la land.
